Removing Urine Odour and Stain from Hardwood Floors

  1. Spray affected areas with UrineFREE.

  2. Cover wet floor with plastic film or sheeting to slow evaporation. Hardwood flooring needs a longer time for effective results to take place.

  3. Remove plastic after 30 minutes or more. Blot dry with paper towels.

  4. Repeat Step 1 without covering with plastic.

  5. Blot dry again after 30 minutes.

  6. Repeat half-hour treatments until odour is removed.

NOTE:  Stains are notoriously difficult to remove from hardwood. Black staining from long-term exposure to urine may remain after treatment. UrineFREE will not penetrate sealed floors. Sealed floors over old urine stains will need to be sanded back, treated and re-sealed.
